I used it with 14 ounce puff pastry and put in cream cheese, cinnamon, strawberries, and sugar. I sprinkled it well with flour before I used it. It was so easy to use and I was surprised at how much fun it was. It made four and then for kicks I made one large one. Now I can hardly wait to make more with apples, honey, nuts, and cinnamon. I thought the tops were closed well but three of the five opened while they. baked but made beautiful tarts instead. This tool will be my favorite toy for awhile. Start with the bottom pulled out and put in the exact measurement of the ring and then the filling (it holds less than you think it will) and push up the bottom and it closes the top, but you have to seal it. Then push down the sides and it releases it. It was easy to clean. So cool! Have fun!
