These scoops are not nonstick. They did stick to my ice cream, they did not make neat scoops with frozen from freezer ice cream or ice cream that sat out for 5 minutes or so. I had to lay my cone down, dig out another spoon in order to scrape chunks of ice cream from the scoop. I even used hot water in a cup to dip the scoop in to clear the ice cream off and the ice cream still stayed in the scoop. I've already thrown out the packaging or I'd return them.Good for the price especially because you get 2 of them they are a lil cheap but not that bad. I would recommend buying them so far so goodI have been looking for a cookie scoop for a long time I hate the ones that have the handles that you squeeze they never work right for me . I’ve had others that you just had to dig the dough out to put it on the cookie sheet . These are perfect you get the same size cookie every time and you can just push on the soft silicone back of the scoop and they come right off . I don’t know about ice cream but it seems like it would be similar but I’m not sure . They are both the same size.I couldn't resist buying this set of ice cream scoops because they were so inexpensive and kind of cute. For $3, I really didn't expect them to work well. But I was wrong -- they're actually quite sturdy and scoop rather well. I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised. I do need to let hard ice cream soften a bit, but it doesn't need to be mushy. For $3, you really can't go wrong.Got them on a super sale of $3, so I can't complain about much! I got blue and gray instead of blue and green, but red one is as pictured. They bend a little when scooping hard ice cream, but don't feel like they're gonna break. Back of the spoon is pliable silicone so you can push your scoop out. No problems sticking them in the dishwasher.These took forever to come, and was delayed in transit, then seemed to be lost. When they finally arrived I washed them and used one. My ice cream was pushed to the back and got harder than usual. It was not easy to scoop even after heating the scoop with hot water. I will update after I try it with a softer ice cream.These work wonderfully for ice cream. I do soften it up a little bit first because I feel it scoops nicer, but the handle felt nice and sturdy as I scooped. I haven't had a chance to try it with cookie dough, but I am hoping to do that soon. I think the silicone "button" will make it easy to push the balls of dough out.So far these have been great!! They're easy to use and easy to clean. The colors are bright and bold and the scoop is soft on the inside where you can pop out whatever you're using it for. They easy to clean, just stick them in the dishwasher, or hand wash easily as well. They're pretty sturdy and well made, especially for the price!!
