Mick Fowler describes his experiences in the mountains with superb, witty, LOL humor. Miserable bivouacs are described in hilarious detail. Who takes only 4 ice screws to save weight, but carries a Harry Potter book to read? His humor is about his foibles. He is a mountaineer/rock climber who can't read a compass or ski which causes funny blunders. His book is worth reading even if you are not an armchair mountaineer like me.
