This album is a love of mine. It took a while, but now the music is all here. It contains many influences from smooth jazz, latin rock, fusion, new age and other styles. In the album I have many guest musicians from Gumbi Ortiz percussionist for Al Dimeola to many other amazing players. My hope is that you like at least one of my compositions. Please let me know you comments. VIRELLA is the instrumental project of New York City guitarist/composer/producer Julio Virella. He has been a professional guitarist for over 25 years. He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. It was there that he began playing guitar. In the early seventies he moved to New York and began playing in many bands in the New City area. He studied jazz guitar with the great Skeeter Best a jazz guitarist/educator in New York City.
