The lid broke twice BUT for the price its good. the tabs to open it both broke off.I do like this tray with the lid. You can store about one and a half trays of ice in the bin. I use a holder from an old ice maker to keep a good amount of ice on hand. Once my holder was full, I use my new bin to have extra iceon hand.I like the size of the ice cubes and I really like the lid so I don't spill.Don't overfill and keep it level and you will be fine.The scoop is a little small for my liking. I use a plastic cup as a scoop.It's way too much of a hassle for me to put a filter in my water line. The recipe for ice is pretty easy.? I use filtered water from my Brita pitcher.This tray was a little pricey, but definitely meets my needs. I am glad I bought it.Cheers to good tasting ice!My kids love to empty the ice tray while making themselves some nice, cold beverages, then put the ice tray back INTO THE FREEZER empty. I have no idea why, go figure. But, with this, I can compile many small ice cubes and make more while I have some in the bottom to draw from! I am very happy and now I, too, can enjoy cold drinks lolLove it, I do wish the bin was bigger. After 3 loads of ice the top doesn't want to close all the way with the scoop in it, I also wish the cover for the try would also fit the bin. This is still a good product.Easy to remove and air-tight closureIce cube holes are the size of 1/2 of my thumb in length. Itty bitty.Sounds silly but I’m an ice cube tray snob! I hate it when you get an ice cube tray and then you try and dislodge the ice cubes and they don’t come out and you have to twist and twist and twist and then you get it broken little pieces of ice cubes! This ice tray for exceeded my expectations and the price was good. The lid does not lock on or fit snugly But it’s also not loose but it doesn’t matter as long as you’re putting it on a flat surface in the refrigerator the bottom container is thick durable plastic and the ice cube tray very good quality also! I even overfilled the ice cube sections a little bit and a lot of times what will happen is the ice cubes won’t break up! it I twisted one way than the other and they all fell out with complete ease I would buy this again I feel like I really scored!! Highly recommend this product!I like that the ice cube tray is covered and the ice is kept below. J’aime vraimentThe only real issue I have with this is that the tray that the ice freezes in must be used as the lid that goes on that isn’t quite big enough to go on the bottom bucket tray. Not a big issue, and I would have still bought knowing this, but still takes up quite a bit of space in the bucket tray.Other than that, it’s exactly as I expected it to be.The lid does not snap closed over cubes so basically useless. It also does not snap close over the bin so basically useless. Its like a dust cover for your ice cubes. USLESSIt's perfect. Even in a small freezer if you love ice and your kids don't ever stop eating it.Just what I was looking for. Much easier to manage then several separate ice cube trays. There is always ice cubes now and not 4 trays with 1 cube in them lol. It’s compact and keeps the ice cubes from taking on smells. Would recommend.
