The instructions refer to a lid. No lid was in the package. I'm sure I can improvise one if needed.The outside of the container is larger than expected, given how small the interior is. I may not have room for it in the freezer.I upped the temp. all the way to very high, still no freeze. Put it in the ice maker, still no freeze. You have to put the yogurt inside the container and then it will freeze in about an hour. Product not good.I just tried this for the first time this week and was very disappointed -- maybe my expectations were too high. I had a hard time putting the pieces back together after washing. Freezing was inconsistent for me - and, when I tried to put the whole thing back into the freezer to firm it up, the sides got rock hard. Unfortunately, it is apparently too late to return it.I like the idea of this product, but I have a problem with the lack of workyness. I tried to make fro yo twice with no luck at all. I basically made slightly colder yogurt.... and inflamed my carpal tunnel.Works as great as it said got it 3 days ago.already used it twice??It is good and makes frozen yogurt!!!I definitely did not have the same luck other people seem to be having with this product. I followed the instructions and the yogurt failed to turn into a lovely frozen treat as promised. All I managed to make with it was really cold yogurt with a few gross chunks of partially frozen yogurt mixed in. I can get the same effect (minus the frozen chunks) by simply putting a tupperware of yogurt in the freezer for a few minutes. I also tried freezing some yogurt (after adding some sugar and vanilla extract to it) in a tupperware for a few hours to see what sort of texture it would have, and while it’s a bit grainy right out of the freezer, if allowed to melt a bit it turns into a soft-serve consistency. I got better results making frozen yogurt by just freezing it than I did with this product.It says in the instructions that you may have to turn down the freezer’s temperature to get it to work, but I don’t think it’s worth the added electricity expense. I had stuck the cold pack into the back of the freezer and left it there overnight, but apparently it still wasn’t cold enough. The cold pack is also difficult to clean after use, and since it only holds two servings it will need to be cleaned a lot if you plan on making a lot of ‘frozen’ yogurt.I would say save your money and put it towards a proper ice cream/frozen yogurt maker.Product sample provided at a discount for evaluation and reviewing purposes.I've been trying to cut the junk food out of our lives, but it's been kind of a challenge. I mean, who doesn't like ice cream once in awhile or some kind of treat? I saw this and thought perhaps it would be something I could try to help sate those cravings for bad foods, but with something a lot healthier!The product is very interesting. I placed the liner in the freezer after washing the pieces and decided to use it the next day. It's been brutally hot so a frozen treat was just what we needed.I had some chobiani vanilla greek yogurt and figured that would make a nice base for my creation. I washed and cut up some strawberries and put it all in the frozen yogurt maker. .At first, I wasn't sure it was doing anything and I was afraid I'd bought into another crazy kitchen gadget that takes up space, but never gets used. But then I saw it was beginning to get frozen and it was actually working! After a few minutes, I had a nice, healthy yogurt treat full of strawberry chunks. Everyone loved it! It was a huge hit with my entire family. I see this getting a lot of use this summer!!I received this product at a discount so I could try it out and review it.
