Love the ice tray and the ease of getting the cubes out but the bin just shattered when it fell from our counter. It was completely empty and my daughter was about to dumb the ice in when she knocked it over. It just broke into so many pieces.This product is great for the price. I love the oddly shaped cubes. The ice is easy to remove from the tray. The bin holds about 2 1/2 trays full of ice, which is plenty for a small household. My only complaint is that I wish the bin would hold 3 full trays of ice. But that's a minor issue.My refrigerator does not have an ice maker and it gets cumbersome constantly filling it ice cube trays…or rather having people forget to fill them. The bin fits nicely in my freezer and holds a decent amount of ice. The ice cube tray sets nicely on top of the bin and ice cubes push out very easily. After reading many reviews for various ice cube tray/bin combos, I’m happy I went with this one.I was looking for a container with a lid and this works for me. The lid doesn’t click on but it does stay in place. The ice cube tray was a bonus and I liked the honeycomb shape. And the ice cubes actually do press out as seen in the video. Big Negative: the ice cube tray Stinks and I mean Stinks. I soaked it in baking soda, vinegar, bleach, nothing worked. I had to throw it away.This is an excellent ice cube tray & freezer story bin set, the tray sits flush over the storage container and there a lid that fits over the tray to keep the ice fresh both. This was a well thought out design, the lid keeps the ice fresh in the tray and the tray covers and keeps the ice fresh that is stored in the bin. A win win situation and perfect for people who do not use a lot of ice or those who freeze flavored ice cubes that may produce some odors before they freeze. The falls out easily from the tray, it takes just a quick twist and it is loosened and turn over and they fall right out. The bin holds a decent amount of ice without taking up too much room in the freezer. This is an impressive quality made set.Product is easy to fill because of the hard handle around the edge while the cubes are fairly easy to pop into the bin once they're frozen (might need to press pretty hard on the first cube). Just be careful to hold it on the sides when you're moving it to your freezer!The ice container and tray are both heavy duty and feel like they'd last. However, the geometric shapes make it difficult to remove the ice and to clean.So I bought ice trays from a kitchen supply store before I bought this. Then I found this browsing around. I now find no need for the others I bought. This is beyond cool love how u can empty the ice tray underneath and make more ice.and have a little stock pile building up and save freezer space. I had no room to buy ice bags and set a bunch of trays in the freezer this thing is awesome and fit my needs
