But the ones that came with this worked greatThis mechanism is easy to use; instructions are clear. We use it to add an extra dimension to our Birthday celebrations. Participants can create their own buttons! I would highly recommend this button maker for all occasions!I bought this to turn excess Pokemon cards into buttons. For the most part it works, and the end result is incredibly cute. Great as a prize box item for kids. However... there is an incredibly high failure rate. I think it's like 1 in 3 or like 1 in 4, but inconsistent. Like 7 success and then 2 fails. I suspect it has to do with the card's thickness, but I'm not sure. Thankfully I've been using super cheap and easy to obtain cards. But just something to be on the lookout for.I bought this product for my 14 year old to start her business. This product is really good quality and works perfectly, the only issue is the size. when it arrived we were surprised how small the pins were. (size of american quarter) Later we reviewed and realized i made the mistake of purchasing the wrong size, completely my fault! If this is the size wanted then buy it! great product and cheaper than others ive seen!I love this pin maker so much. It works great, it's easy to use, and there's loads of supplies that come with it. My only dislike is the difficulty of the paper cutter, it's not the easier to use, but as an add-on to all the required items it does work. It's honestly just as easy to use as the $700 pin maker i've gotten to use.At first I was so frustrated. Could not get the back pin to attach. So I boxed it up and made a return. Then I decided to reopen and tried again. Wa La….. I was doing it wrong. I did not flip the plastic pin backing with the pin side down. It clearly shows it on the diagram?, it is really nice. Made a boat load of pins. Cut the circle on my Cricut machine at 1.943 for a 1.50 button.Reduced the graphics to an inch and centered it. I love it. Called customer service to delete my return request.They were so helpful and nice.Works wellNot easy to use. Plastic film does work well
