This has been so useful. It's a great product for the most part, and I'll continue to use it. My only wish is that the plastic lids were better able to stay on the trays. I have several products from Souper Cubes, and they've solved the lid-on-silicone-tray problem. If they make a product more like this, I'll probably get that instead.I was very excited to get this because of the box I could transfer the ice to. However, I was a little disappointed that the lid on the box didn’t seem to snap tightly closed, so it could come open easily. The solution for us was to just tie a rubber band around it. Otherwise, the ice trays are easy to use and easy to get the ice out of.Easy to get ice out but the lids do not fit and don't stay closed all the wayBetter than traditional but sometimes frustrating as it gets stuck like all ice trays here and there.If I could go back in time, I would still purchase this product. However, water will spill when someone attempts to get ice not knowing the ice isnt formed yet. I like to keep everything stacked on top of eachother, so it's hard to get the formed ice at the bottom when the top trays have water in them. Ice is easy to remove and it's a way to have a good amount!First I want to point out the good points. It's very well made,sturdy and arrived intact. It does have a chemical smell but since it's manufactured silicone it's to be expected. The smell pretty much went away after washing it. It's very easy to use and saves valuable space in the freezer.Now the bad points. The lids don't fit very well especially after freezing. Also I filled it up around 7 pm and this morning when I checked it at 11 am only one tray was about 2/3 frozen and the other was only half frozen. I separated them and an hour later one was solid and the other one needed about another hour or so. Overall I really like the product but I will always have one tray dumped in the bottom storage container and keep the trays filled on to because it will take time to make more ice if you run out. I only took off one star because of the lid and freeze time.I love the system, size of cube, etc. BUT the lids don't fit snuggly on top of the plastic bin. The lid is just kind of sitting on top.This ice tray is perfect for my needs, but be aware that it's quite small. I took a picture with a quarter and a ruler for scale. I needed small trays that would take up less real estate in a small freezer. The ice bin holds two trays of ice.It’s easy to remove cubes, I like the box but I wish I did not buy the additional tray. I never use it It’s easy to freeze cubes if the tray sits on the box but not if it stands alone. It always takes longer to put the lid on.But overall I am happy with my purchaseThe best investment. I love quality and its so easy to remove ice. No mess nothing just perfect.Silicone trays too pliable so when full of water they bend losing most of the water.
