From the ice, the top handle can be set to 25", 28", 31" or 34" To test these heights at home before purchase we recommend laying a broom handle or bar horizontally at these set heights then grip to gauge the comfort level. Another key advantage to this design is keeping the drag on the ice to a minimum with a rounded contact point. Tapered Edges The SkateRanger Legend ICE was designed to avoid any sharp plastic or exposed metal edges. Each PVC fitting is tapered and the pipe contoured on the adjustable legs at their midway point. We build each SkateRanger Legend ICE with safety in mind. Durable Adjustment Points Four adjustment points have tapered openings making the change from each setting simple and easy. In addition, Karben uses solid steel inserts in the snap buttons, not a hollowed-out "shell" button. Our original, legendary, adjustable-height product into the skating market! Four adjustment points allow for a wide range of children's heights. We don’t recommend this for taller teens or adults as our set-size SkateRanger ICE (Large) or SkateRanger ICE XL would be recommended for those customers.
Three weighted foot “nubs” provide a significant advantage over other ice trainers on the market; Minimal contact with the ice (from the rounded base of the foot nub) makes sure the trainer can pivot and turn exactly as the user needs and wants. The safety and security of the trainer are there for the user but unlike with roller skating, learning on ice makes it helpful for the trainer to move sharply at a moment’s notice.
All Structural "furniture-grade" PVC construction for a lifetime of use. Much stronger than plumbing purchased at big-box stores and no metal parts which are a known safety hazard in rinks.
