Much better than large soda bottles that lose carbonation once opened. Make sure that long plastic tube is firmly seated in the valve top before charging.It broke 1 year after light useI bought one for work and one from home. i wish they were bigger. I go through it fast. It is hit or miss on how bubbly the water turns out, but I got better judging the amount of water to put in over time. Too much water makes micro bubbles.It is better than most of the other siphons what you can get. However the first things what you have change is the tube inside. It is held by a silicon plate, that will get loose after a couple of charging and will push the tube out. From that point it is a struggle to use the siphon. I was managed to "clamp" the tube to the silicon plate, but it is also possible to just buy an aluminum version of the a tube and plate. Other than that, everything is fine.We use it to make carbonated water. We love it!The bottle is beautiful anodized red with black 0lastic valve on top. I've always wanted to try carbonated coffee, and it tasted great...from the first Co2 cartridge. That's how I knew I was doing it right.But when I tried to pressurize the bottle with the second cartridge, boom! The plastic lever self-destructed from the pressure of the Co2 release.Genuine plastic imported from china, just like everything else in this country.Don't waste your money. You can do better at that other "importer", Walmart.Not bad. It works. It’s well constructed. But the water isn’t that fizzy. Yes, even when the instructions are followed to the letter. If you’re looking fizzy like LaCroix or a soda stream, keep looking. Also, occasionally, the suction straw inside falls out of its keeper and you have to start over, wasting a CO2 cylinder. That said, we’re using it as back up fizzy water.It makes great soda water, always fresh and bubbly. Cold too, if you keep it in the refrigerator. Easy to use and refill. Just the best.On the other hand, it is more expensive compared to bottled club soda. You got to keep those CO2 cartridges around. And you have to keep it clean.But if you love soda water to drink or for a mixer, this is the way to go.I should have looked more closely at the reviews before I bought this. It looks nice and will indeed stop you buying plastic bottles of fizzy water BUT you only get one use out of each gas canister (so if you're paying £10 for 10 then basically the litre and a half of water you get out of this costs £1 per time which is more expensive than a lot of the bottles of fizzy water you can buy). In addition you then throw away each gas canister, so you're still discarding those - they're just not plastic.Not tried yet as the product as advertised on Amazon has no information on the CO2 cartridge required. I had to buy the product and read the instructions to find out the type. It only takes an 8g unthreaded BTW.It EXPLODED! The top of this was properly screwed on and blew off when we applied the CO2. Top was too weak to hold the pressure. Fortunately, nobody was leaning over it, or they would have been seriously injured. The top slammed into the ceiling and left a big mark (picture attached). This item should be removed from sale.Thought at first it was brilliant but after a week it seriously started to leak in the fridge over a period of time, have tried to get it sorted to no avail, thought we were going to be sent replacement parts but they never came so now its gone to the tip and its back to buying cans. The first fault I have ever had from Amazon products.Item arrived early. I have used it a few times and it has worked fine. I chill the water before using and give it a really good shake after using the CO2. It's more sparkling than fizzy but that is how I like it.
