MAKER 6-Piece Nonstick Bakeware Set - Baking Pans, Cookie Sheets & Cake Pans for Home Baking, Cooking & Gift Giving

I am by far no stranger to kitchen duties but I am new to the MAKER brand of products. My wife and I retired the use of any aluminum cookware and any Teflon coated products many years ago due to the negative health issues with both. We use stainless steel, glass and ceramic and do not miss the others. Since my wife makes our bread from scratch (grinds wheat and such) we are always using the oven. These MAKER "cookie" sheets are perfect for making bread and tonight we'll be testing it on some salmon. Both sizes are perfect (large is 19.45" x 12.14" x 1.05" weighing 2.5 lbs, medium is 17.44" x 11.94" x.0.84" weighing 2.0 lbs) and the silicone handles help the oven mits to get a firm grip. I'm not saying the silicone handles don't work on their own but since I hate being burned I'm not taking any chances on touching the metal. The ceramtec coating allowed for the bread to slide right off. (CeramTec coating is also used in medical equipment and internal parts such as knee replacements but I'm not sure if it's the same product but it has the same name.) Cleanup was super easy and as you can see by the pictures there was no staining. There's a trough around the edge of both for catching runaway liquids.The price is excellent for two quality cookie sheets. Can you get sheets cheaper? Of course but they won't be good for your health and they'll warp in a very short time. I'm sold on this cookware and will definitely be looking into more of the MAKER brand.UPDATE:We've been using these pans a few times a week and up to this point were very happy with them. After a wonderful salmon dinner last night I noticed the larger of the two pans had warped badly. Over a half inch wobble from corner to corner is now obvious. I have some really inexpensive pans that have never done this. We stayed below the maximum heat rating and the fish only backed for 15 minutes. This is not good and I'm very disappointed. They seem like such high quality too. Now I have to remove my recommendation for this cookware.Do you know how hard it is to find a decent cookie sheet?? I have gone through so many and tossed them all out because they stained, rusted and were so hard to clean up. I hate having to scrub a sticky cookie sheet with an SOS pad! So I finally splurged on these non-stick cookie sheets and I love 'em! They are the last cookie sheets I will ever have to buy. High quality and so easy to clean up---just a wipe with a damp cloth. The small size is great if you are baking fries and fish sticks or a chicken pattie for two people. I like these so much that I am going to get the larger size for Christmas baking. Best cookie sheet ever!It is a very well made spring form, heavier metal makes it sturdy and distributes heat evenly for best results baking.Truly non stick; needs to be greased slightly (I used butter). My walnut cake separated from the sides and it needed only to be lifted a bit with the knife from the bottom. Well, it is a heavy cake...Easy to open and close, easy to clean with the sponge. It doesn't leak.Made pasta so well we tried it with other noodle products. The products ended up so finely baked they impressed my soon-to-be mother-in-law SO much she actually left our apartment without insulting a thing or bursting out a random backhanded compliment! I then realized it sent my fiancee and I into a parallel dimension the polar opposite of where we came from. I met her evil twin, and I was jealous of mine's good looks. We were then cursed to the forbidden zone and partook in a deathrace to reactivate our subconsciousnesses.In short, cook with this an shut the mother-in-law the hell up for once.I purchased this as an Amazon Warehouse Deal and one of the rubber handles was missing, but they really have nothing to do with how the product works so I simply took the other handle off to match, because even though they may not get as hot I wouldn't trust that and would still use an oven mitt anyways. Sheet works great and is perfect for if you're cooking a small amount of food at once. Would definitely recommend!No toxic chemicals of Teflon, although it freaks me out that it looks just like Teflon. I thought I wouldn't need to use cooking spray, but you do. Easy to clean. Even baking. Must use plastic utensils so you don't scratch it.INEXPENSIVE REPLACEMENT I PURCHASE AWHILE AGO. STILL SCRATCH FREE. HARD STUCK ON FOOD JUST SEEMS TO MELT OFF WHEN USING A SOFT CLOTH OR BRUSH.Our old pans were rusting, so it was time to invest in a couple of 8 by 8 pans. We found Maker Homeware 8 inch Square cake pans and we are once again happy. Not only due these pans work great for cakes, we also use them to thaw out whatever we are having for dinner that night.
