But I was able to remove the adapter from my unit and replaced the one on the new unit and everything was wired just the same so it was basically plug and play. Yellow and White adapters are different, but the main part of the unit where those adapters plug in on the ice maker itself are exactly the same.All of the reviews about white/yellow plug are irrelevant because unit is universal as long as you have your original ice maker and can follow the wires... there was nothing crazy or difficult about replacing the adapter.This was exactly what we needed It was easy to install and our ice maker is now working like a champ!So far so good!Old ice maker quit and this fixed the problem. Very easy o replace.easy to install and working great
