I knew going in that this version doesn't let you do a lot of things the PC version does, but I thought I'd still have fun. I've used free tools a lot like this in the past and had fun, but I was very disappointed to pay anything for this.To start, whoever adapted the game to work with a controller didn't know what they were doing. It's counter-intuitive. Also, keep in mind you will be writing text using the PS4 system keyboard, which isn't fun. Sadly, the game doesn't give you some of the most basic, old-school quality-of-life text tools like copying/pasting text or automatically continuing text as a second row when it's too long to fit in one row. It took lots of trial and error for me to manually fit text into a box that was just big enough for it. The worst thing is, in the end, the tools are made to create a very specific kind of fantasy-themed old old-school RPG. I wanted to create something slightly outside the lines that involved using more text in battles. Half of it looked impossible and half of it would have been so much work I lost all interest.PS: the company offers a free RPG player if you want to play what others made without buying this.
