This machine makes great ice and a lot of it. It is pretty quiet on its own. It looks good when installed. But...The thing arrived with a dent in the top and no damage to the shipping container. Luckily , for me the dent won't be visible. The bracket that holds the inner cover was not installed properly from the factory so the inner cover was off when it arrived. My install requires a drain pump. So, I was able to have the bracket installed properly and the dent removed when my tech installed the drain pump. No biggie.If you can use the floor drain, do so. The drain pump was supposed to have a check valve, and did not. I had to get one from the hardware store. Without this the pump runs almost continuously. The drain pump runs more than I would expect even with the check valve installed.Not the quality level that I would expect from a nearly $3000 ice maker upon arrival.All of the issues were easily corrected and we love this ice machine.So there you have it.
