Just found out about using these wonderful little gadgets to create your own bias tape. The most difficult part is cutting the fabrics so they are straight (no chunks out with the scissors) and keeping the cut strips centered in the unit. If you go slowly, it works wonderfully. Don't rush. If you find some of the finished bias is not centers, a little spray bottle to dampen the strip and re-enter into the tape maker and press again. Using this and other sizes on a big project. We all love working with it and found these hints helpful.
