Like making my own ice. I was born in the country. Water not suppose to have a smell are a chemical taste. I live in a big city now for 35 years and never drink the water from my kitchen sink. So many report s one out later about water contamination after you have consumed it for many years, now u you have cancer from chemical no one told you about.It’s pretty easy to use. You do have to fidget with the ices to get them out but it gets the job doneIt is extremely difficult for me to remove the ice the way this product was intended, even though I made sure the water level wasn't too high that it creates a giant block of ice. I ended up lightly twisting the ice cube tray to release some of the ice, and poked the individual slots with my finger, because the lid that has the ice-releasing mechanism just wasn't strong/long enough to release the ice. I still like that it(a) creates a lot of ice at once,(b) creates a good size of ice (not too big/small), and(c) does not take up a lot of space in the freezer.I'll continue to use it but wouldn't recommend it to those who are considering this item solely for the ice-release mechanism.This is my favorite ice cube tray that I’ve ever used. The added rounded spikes on the lid make it extremely easy and fast to remove the ice cubes so you’re not left struggling to pop them out individually. The stacking feature minimizes space in your freezer. The scoop is nice addition. Great all around.Just as described! Works great!This fits nice and neat in my freezer. We don't regularly use ice. I only need ice on hand for a smoothie or iced coffee, so this is perfect for us. That being said - I have already filled it 2x, so maybe we use more ice than I think.I couldn't get the ice that had "stored" in the ice trays to come out as easily as the "fresher" or just frozen cubes. This was easily fixed by using the lid on a tray, flipping it, and running it once under hot water. A few fell into the lid (but there was no hot water in the lid), and the rest easily fell into the actual container when I put the tray on the container.Very satisfied with my purchase.Additionally, the seller sent me a note asking if I was happy with my purchase and telling me of the 1 year replacement guarantee. They did not ask me to write a review. I never write reviews for those that ask as for some reason, that never sits well.It's an ice cube trays so nothing much to talk about but... there's moreThis gives alot more cubes and makes the drink much colder since it's smaller and it's hygienic since it has covers.Worked perfect, easy to pop out ice and the tub holds around 4 of the trays of ice, which is perfect even when i have iced coffees multiple times a day, not hard to refill it.
