Knocked off 1 star for some difficulty in setting it up. I had my 13 yo son set it up. Almost returned it because it was not working. Good thing I told him to run the clean cycle first. Now, it works great. We'll see if it lasts long. Got it at a great price... I'm not sure if I would still get it now that the price increased significantly.This ice maker is excellent for the price. It does produce at least 40 pounds of ice if not more. The only thing is you need to make sure you have a storage container in your freezer to store ice. The storage in the ice maker is small. I just put a plastic bowl in the freezer and I never run out of ice. I highly recommend it.This product is excellent. It works fine,not real noisy at all. Easy to set up fits perfectly on the counter top.Good product. Only reason not 5 stars , is how long term it will last?This icemaker does everything it says. Love the bullet ice, and it really puts out the ice. We wanted it for our RV, and I think it will be perfect. I purchased another one for a gift.This countertop ice maker is a little loud, but it's so fast that I don't have to keep it plugged in for very long. I plug it in when our family of 4 get home from work and school, and we have a cup of ice in 8mins. The ice is small enough to fit in most water bottles. The seller was very easy to work with, and quick to reply to messages. The ice does start to melt as soon as it's dropped, so it's best to move ice to a freezer if you aren't going to use it immediately. Overall, I'd buy it again.What I like about it is that it makes ice really quickly. What I don’t like about it is that the ice sits in a tray and melts and then it makes new ice from the water from the melted ice. The issue is that it is quite noisy in the middle of the night as it drops new ice cubes every hour or so. Otherwise it’s a pretty good ice maker.Works fast and so compact
